Pain Points:
CFP’s existing website suffered from broken functionality and unreliable links, which negatively impacted usability and user trust. The design felt outdated and lacked visual polish, failing to clearly distinguish CFP within their industry. Branding was applied inconsistently across the site, resulting in a fragmented and unclear identity.
In addition, the website did not effectively convert visitors into enquiries and failed to showcase CFP’s work and the impact of their projects. As a result, key services and achievements were not being communicated clearly to potential clients.
Solutions:
After establishing CFP’s new brand identity, we applied it across the website to create a cohesive and engaging digital presence. Key colours from the updated palette were used as accent tones, alongside the brand’s topographical texture applied to section backgrounds to add visual interest and depth.
We focused on improving user flow by ensuring key pages are always accessible through clear navigation, supported by intuitive, relevant sections that guide users toward the information they need. At CFP’s request, the design and layout were kept clean and uncluttered, with plenty of space for content to breathe. This approach allowed greater emphasis on CFP’s work and the positive impact they have made within the UK heritage sector.
The website was built using Elementor, which enabled CFP’s team to easily manage and update the content in house. Following launch, we provided in-depth training to ensure they felt confident editing the site and maintaining it independently.
Key Functionalities:
✤ Dynamic projects showcase with KPI counters to highlight impact
✤ Elementor framework enabling beginner friendly content editing
✤ Custom case study and team member template pages for consistent content presentation
✤ Contact forms with file upload functionality powered by Gravity Forms
The redesigned CFP website provides a clear, modern platform that reflects their expertise and impact within the UK heritage sector. With an intuitive structure, strong visual identity, and flexible build, the site supports both user engagement and long-term content management for the CFP team.
